At GOTTA, we are committed to assisting our clients in conducting comprehensive water resource studies as mandated by environmental regulatory bodies. To reinforce our dedication to quality and accuracy, we initiated the accreditation process in accordance with the NTC – ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard in 2022. This endeavor was undertaken with the aim of providing our clients with water quality monitoring and flow measurement services that are officially accredited by IDEAM.
In March 2024, we achieved our goal and received the Resolution 0249 of 2024, accrediting us for spot, composite, and integrated sampling of lotic and lentic bodies in surface and groundwater for the following parameters: pH, Temperature, Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, Settleable Solids (surface water), Flow (using current meters, ADCP, volumetric methods), Redox Potential (groundwater).
With this accreditation, we assure our clients that the monitoring services contracted by them for environmental permits, environmental license procedures, environmental management plans, among other procedures with environmental authorities, will be carried out using methodologies, techniques, and equipment approved by IDEAM and following national and international standards and guidelines. This endorsement ensures that the field data collected and analyzed in laboratories will be accepted by environmental authorities and will not hinder the ongoing procedure.
